How It Works
The patented UltraSlim® medical device delivers a unique, high-powered red light, which tricks the adipocyte into responding as if it was a time of famine. The fat cell membrane is disrupted, resulting in temporary pores which allow the fat to escape.
With UltraSlim®, patients lose the fat permanently through a natural bodily function known as "lipolysis." The contents of the fat cells are excreted primarily in the patient’s waste, as part of the body’s natural detoxification pathways.

What does treatment feel like?
It’s slightly warm and very pleasant. The light is positioned over your body several inches away, never touching you. Your skin does need to be exposed to the light for it to be effective and we will make sure you’re comfortable. Many people fall asleep during treatment or relax.
How many treatments do I need?
Each body is different and each person’s goals are different. Book an initial consult to discuss your individualized plan based on your goals and assessment. Patients start to see results after just one treatment but to achieve and optimize results typically around six are needed.
How much does it cost and is it covered by insurance?
UltraSlim® is considered a cosmetic procedure with pricing per treatment and can be discussed at your initial consultation. We do offer a 2 inch guarantee (total inches) for the first treatment or your money back. We offer payment plans through Cherry. These treatments are considered elective and not covered by insurance.
How long do the effects last?
UltraSlim® depletes the contents of the fat cells and maintaining a healthy lifestyle should continue to allow your results to remain. However, an unhealthy lifestyle may cause your fat cells to refill with new fat. If fat returns after a cell has been depleted, it will go to the same place making it safer to deplete a fat cell vs. killing a fat cell. Treatments like heat-based, ultrasound, radio frequency and fat freezing (i.e. CoolSculpting) devices kill fat cells. With those types of treatments, if fat returns after your fat cells have been killed, patients of those procedures will commonly see side effects like dysmorphic or visceral fat when it comes back.
