FAQs

What should I expect at my first visit?

We will do a thorough consultation and evaluation to understand your needs and concerns. We’ll review the recommended treatment plan and/or order any further diagnostic tests. We put you at the center of your care and will listen carefully and thoroughly explain what to expect next for your detailed treatment plan. You’ll need to fill-out new patient forms and come prepared with insurance information if you have current coverage.

Why should I choose Blaine Health & Wellness?

Our DMR clinic is unique because we incorporate integrative care with chiropractic, physical and massage therapy. We believe the combination of these practices create better outcomes for you to help feel better, move better and live without pain.

We pride ourselves on listening to you and have a great team of experienced, licensed professionals who are passionate about helping our patients maintain and improve their health and wellness.

We are locally owned and operated by Dr. Brian Lund who resides in Blaine with his family. We appreciate each and every patient and are active in giving back to the community.

What is the DMR Method?

The DMR Method of pain management and integrative care, and its results, have been proven as a highly effective holistic approach to drug-free pain relief.

The method is specifically designed and constructed to address the body’s response to illness and injury. The treatment course follows a care plan that includes chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, massage, traction and joint manipulation when and as needed. We carefully assess and personalize a care plan to address each individual patient’s needs. There are several DMR clinics in the metro area.

What about insurance coverage?

We participate in most health insurance plans. At the time of your initial visit, we will attempt to verify your current insurance coverage. Coverage can vary by insurance provider and ultimately, it is your responsibility to know your chiropractic/physical therapy benefits. For example, some insurance carriers will cover your initial exam whereas others will not. All coverage is based on insurance coverage at time of service.

We also offer wellness plans if you choose not to use insurance which means you pay a flat rate for treatment. We accept cash, your personal check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover cards.

What about insurance for personal injury or auto accidents?

We work with all auto insurance providers. Please see our Auto Accident FAQ for more detailed information.

What about insurance for injury on the job (worker’s compensation)?

If you are injured on the job, your care should be paid for under your employer’s Worker’s Compensation insurance. You will need to inform your employer of the accident and obtain the name and address of the carrier of their insurance. If your employer does not provide us with this information, if a settlement has not been made within 3 months, or if you suspend or terminate care, any fees and services are due immediately.
